Are you an expounder?
Expounder means advocate or protector. It is an appropriate
name for the group of outcasts and misfits who are part of a dream to unite
all humanity.
The expounders are a group of young men with mutant
abilities who work to save other mutants. The US and private organizations
have teamed up to send gifted individuals to internment camps.
In order to participate in The X-pounders, you must:

Be over the age of 18 - NO EXCEPTIONS!

Have free time to make a commitment to regular posting - at
least 2-3 times per week

Have the skills to post grammatically correct narratives

Have basic spelling skills - or a functional spell checker

Have an interest in gay and X-Men genres
So how do you join? You submit a biography of a potential
character. Your biography should include everything that is on the current
team members' biographies. You can read them at the
Team Page. You must, at
a minimum submit the following:
Home: (Character's hometown)
Age: (Keep in mind they are students, but must be over the age of 18,
but younger than 21)
Weight: (in pounds)
Height: (in feet and inches)
Mutant Factor Abilities: (basic teenage mutant abilities - no godlike
characters - see sample list)
Institute Biographical Profile: (describing your character's childhood
and how they were abducted - all characters who join the team are rescued
from the Bystanders - a group of human who are hell bent on exterminating
mutantkind.)
Institute Biological Profile: (athleticism, diagnoses)
Institute Psychological Profile: (emotional state, friendliness)
You should also include an image of your character. You may
use anyone. It cannot be pornographic, but may be seductive or erotic. No
nudity allowed. Please include who portrays the character.
Empath - Sense emotions about general people and
pick out familiar prints (can find a person by his emotional print),
emotional projection (can render people unconscious with negative emotions).
Animal Instincts - Reflexes and agility.
Heightened senses - sound, sight, smell, taste, and touch.
Elemental - Manipulation of EITHER fire, water, air,
electricity, or earth.
Invisibility - Reflect light particles to become
invisible and project invisibility on one to two others. Project blinding
light flashes.
Physical Mutation - EITHER wings, physical
disfigurement, ability to morph (shape shift), or change mass size (grow or
shrink).
Intelligence - Super human intelligence.
Interact with machines by tactile impression (touching), including changing
programming. Innate understanding of technology.
